Hand››over4.2.1 - App Store

Handing over your designs to Developers (or picking up designs from a Designer) can prove tricky if you're working on the web or with class libraries like Tailwind. Being able to easily translate those pixels into flexible units is a must so with Hand››over you now can.

Rem

. Convert any number from pixels to ems/rems
. Change the baseline pixel value to whatever you want it to be and see the relevant changes in em conversion
. Change the conversion scale so you're not stuck with a 1.000 scale
. Convert from ems/rems back to pixels at any time

Tailwind

. Find the correct Tailwind class value
. Change the baseline pixel value

Line-height

. Find the perfect line height based on a pixel size
. Change the conversion ratio based on you need
. Swap between scale or percentage based conversions

Radius

. Live preview combined radii based on either an inner or outer radius value and its padding

You can also save any of these conversions to your Saved list and see the latest saved result pinned to a home screen widget.

You can now instantly convert pixels into Tailwind class values. This is perfect for when you've got design files created in pixels and you want to map out the relative Tailwind classes so it's built exactly as designed. 3.5 06/16/2021 New widget! Px ›› Em is now Hand››over. In light of the new Line››height addition (more on this below) and some bigger changes that are planned, Px ›› Em is now Hand››over. Handing over from Design ›› Dev has never been easier.

• Feat: Introducing, Line››height. Simply provide the pixel size of your text, a ratio by which you want to space the lines and see in real time how this looks. You'll also get a print out of what pixel or em value you can use in your code to replicate the view on screen too.
• Feat: iPhone now uses the native TabView so you navigate the individual calculators via the bottom tab bar.
• Feat: Thanks to the new TabView, iPad now uses the iOS 14 Sidebar to allow you to switch between your different calculators.
• Fix: UI polish for the navigation buttons and some other tidying up and refactoring within the code for better performance.

This update is paving the way for the future of Hand››over. There's plans for other calculators to be included to make that Design ›› Dev handover experience better. 3.0 10/13/2020 Feat: You can now insert one of the example scales directly from the Scale + icon. This adds the chosen value into the text field to immediately see the change in the conversion. 2.3.3 10/11/2020 Fix: Small widget size was being truncated due to longer title.
